Hello all,

 

For those of you who were not at this past week's general body meeting and
have not seen the website, there are a few things I want to make sure you
are all informed of.

 

There will be no general body meeting this Wednesday, due to the
Thanksgiving break.  Everyone have a good holiday!

 

Next, elections for the eboard will be held at the last meeting of the
semester, on December 6, 2006 at 9:30.  Members who have been active and in
good standing for two semesters are eligible to run for a position.  All
candidates must be nominated and that nomination must be seconded by another
member.  To nominate or vote, a member must have been active for one
semester and be in good standing.

 

It is very important that everyone attend the next two meetings of the
semester.  On Nov 29th, we will have formal nominations at the meeting.  As
mentioned above, elections will be Dec 6th, the following week.

 

If you cannot attend next Wednesday's meeting, you may nominate via email
over the course of the next week.  Send nominations to eboard at wcpr.org.

 

I order to vote or to be elected, you MUST be at the meeting on Dec 6th.
All candidates not in attendance forfeit their nomination.

 

Finally, the positions to be voted on are:

 

General Manager

Business Manager

Publicity Manager

Office Manager

Programming Director

Station Engineer

 

If you are interested in one of these positions and would like more
information on their responsibilities, please feel free to email the eboard.
We will formally read off the responsibilities from the constitution at the
next meeting.
