[Wcpr-members] This week, and LSD: Light Show and Dance!

Hey everyone, as you all know, our big event is coming up this week... but
before that, our *usual weekly meeting *will be *Wednesday at 9:30pm in the
station*. Remember, *you must attend one meeting per month to retain your
card access.* We love to hear your feedback, and we like to keep our active
members up to date on what's going on around the station.

But on to bigger things...*LSD: Light Show and Dance* is this *Friday,
March 1 at 8pm!* Our very own Electronic Music Director DJ Switz will be
opening up for *Zach Roth*, a killer DJ who is really making waves right
now. We'll need help setting up since we're bringing out just about
everything we own, so if you're interested, *come by the station at 3:30pm *on
Friday. *We need all the hands we can get!* If you can't make setup, still
come out to the event!

All of that said, we also need a few hands to help hand out promotional
materials. We have a bunch of assorted sugary snacks to hand out to
passerby tomorrow afternoon to spread the word, and we need your help. If
you're interested, *email Pat (publicity at wcpr.org) *and let him know.

Also happening this weekend is the *Intercollegiate Broadcast System
Conference!* This *Friday* and *Saturday* IBS will be hosting a bunch of
awesome info sessions, meet and greets, and panels with radio professionals
as well as many other college radio enthusiasts. If you're interested in
taking your show to the next level or eventually helping run the station,
I'd highly recommend you join us. It's free provided you can take the PATH
to 33rd, and sessions run all afternoon on Friday and all day Saturday, so
everyone should be able to find a time to go. *For more information, check

Holly has also asked that I forward on the news about *DuckSync 101*! This
is a class designed for aspiring student leaders and organizers that want
to learn all of the awesome features DuckSync has to offer. The event is
tomorrow afternoon, check out the event page on DuckSync or in the SLN for
more details on that.

Finally, keep recording your shows, find bands to bring in to Studio B, and
keep up the kickass shows! See you all tomorrow!
