[Choir] Choir Competition for Selling Tickets

Sorry for the late reminder, but interested choir members who want to know
about selling choir tickets, please meet me in the music room at 6 pm today.

 

If you meet me, there will be treats.  But I will not tell you what they are
so as to not spoil the surprise.  Let's just say they are YUMMY, and tasty,
and filling.

Hey Folks,

 

I hope you have a great break, I just wanted to inform you on one thing.

 

As we all know, choir concerts are no longer for free, even us students to
go to as they cost two dollars.

 

Anyhow, the e-board sat down with Dave Z and Bethany and we came up with
ideas of center-storming in which we would sell as many tickets to the
concert as possible in order to strive for a full house and/or a lot of
funding to the choir.  In two hours, we were able to storm the howe center
and collect over 60 bucks just like that, enough money to budget for a song
of ours in nice professional copies, not Xerox.

 

Anyhow, we want to create a competition of who sells the most tickets and
who collects the most revenue.  Winner would maybe get a gift certificate to
Qdoba's or Vito's or something like this of maybe 15-20 bucks from the
proceeds collected.  We could discuss more on the reward at a later date if
you so like.  If you are interested in being a ticket seller and
dorm-storming, academic building storming, CAMPUS storming, Hoboken
storming, well maybe not that one, but you get the drift, if you like
selling tickets, then meet with me before choir at 6 PM in the music Room on
both Monday and Thursday.  

 

Also, President's Tea is coming up, I don't know exactly when, but any choir
volunteers to table would be very awesome.  Coordinate with our President
Art on that one and Bethany if you are interested.

PS: Have a great vacation and let's make another get-together for us all to
go out for dinner in Hoboken or something so that way the choir can have
fun.
