[Choir] CHOIR - Sat 9/25 Homecoming - CALLS

Dear Choir,

Dave Z. has gotten back to me about calls for this coming Saturday's 
performance.

Because of ordering issues in the tech, we must be the first "act" to 
use the stage. Ergo, a relatively early call. Sorry about that; can't 
be helped.

11:00 SHARP - Onstage at DeBaun for tech. We have exactly 1/2 hour to 
be sure we can get on/off the stage and risers in an organized and safe 
manner. 

PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE FOR THIS. IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE ALL HANDS ON 
DECK TO MANAGE THE RISERS. THIS IS PARTLY A SAFETY ISSUE. Please note 
you do not have to be in concert dress for the tech. 

11:30 - REHEARSAL - return immediately to the Music Room for a musical 
brush-up from 11:45-12:15. We'll need a half hour at minimum, so we 
need to avoid lollygagging to release by 12:15. Please go from DeBaun 
directly to the Music Room.

Note on this: "Rhapsody" is a big piece, and some of you won't have 
seen it for nearly a week by Sat. None of you will have sung it with 
the whole Choir. I will need this time also, as, for doctoral reasons 
beyond my control, I'm unable to be at rehearsal Thursday evening (our 
pianist, Stephanie Safko, will be leading).

12:15-1:15 - BREAK

1:15 SHARP - be at DeBaun (front of house; that is, in the audience, 
front rows), ready to go.

1:30 SHOW STARTS

ORDER: we close the program. I have not seen the run list, but the 
Showcase generally is on the "short and sweet" side. I'll be surprised 
if it runs much more than an hour, tops.

DRESS: Your nicest black, black & white, or white. If this is not 
possible, greys. If this is still not possible, dark blues. Please no: 
floppy footwear, miniskirts, shirts with logos/graphics, messy 
sneakers. Please do your best to look sharp.
