Please remember that CHOIR IS A CONFLICT.

It is a prior commitment and should be honored as such. It is also 
something you should put on your resume, as this is, after all, a 
musical.

The policy is: for DS production/dress week, persons whose presence is 
vital to the show are completely excused from Choir.

That means cast and tech crew. It does NOT mean ushers, or designers if 
their job is in fact done. Please do not volunteer to usher the Thursday 
night performance. Unskilled work of that sort, that anyone could do, 
does not trump your responsibility to the skilled work and ensemble 
required in choir.

The House Manager (if a choir member) is of course released for the 
opening performance on Thursday, but should not skip Monday choir.

It is difficult to manage being part of two teams at once. Please 
respect your commitment to your colleagues in choir by respecting the 
above. Thank you.
