Dear All!

I am starting sectionals with the current Stevens Choir for the virtual choir projects, the first of which is All Theirs. Ergo, they need back the regular Choir rehearsal times on Monday and Thursday evenings.

SO, we shall meet on other evenings! ZOOM links are at the end of the email (btw, Zoom developed a patch to address the problem of bad actors crashing meetings, and my Zoom has been duly updated).

As always, everyone is welcome for however long you can drop in. We generally go for about an hour, though last Thursday we got into it and went well over. Bernstein!!

I've been adding a new piece or two to the "Corona Repertoire" with every session, and on Thursday we added several others as people came up with ideas ("Let the River Run," sung by Conspirare - yes!). This week, I'd like to add another of the Stevens Choir signature tunes:

More like our tempo and articulations. Weird ending!

There are of course plenty of MESSIAH choruses to enjoy, and especially for those who celebrate Easter, this is a particularly apropos week to sing them. Bring your requests! 🙂
