*Job Description
*Here is an opportunity to perform, to teach, and to have fun! We are
looking for self-motivated candidates to perform solo 45-minute
Sciencetelling shows throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This is a
part-time, flexible position. A Scienceteller is responsible for picking up
supplies, driving to the show location, performing the show, and driving to
the next location – all within specific time frames. Continual paid training
is provided and all mileage is fully reimbursed.

Additional responsibilities: Learn the components of the shows, which
include the story, the science, and the actions; Keep open communication
channels with the customer the day of the performance; Maintain and organize
the administrative aspects of your performances and training.


*Job Qualifications
*Must crave constant improvement;
Must be able to memorize a script;
Must be organized, responsible, and reliable;
Must be animated and ridiculously enthusiastic;
Must be able to adapt to new situations and environments;
Must be able to perform in front of both small and large groups;
Must be great with kids (interact without being condescending);
Must be great with adults (interact professionally, but with a sense of
humor);
Must have a reliable car and be willing to drive at least an hour (full
mileage reimbursement);
Must be physically active (climbing on chairs, running, crawling on the
floor, carrying crates).

All other skills, such as science knowledge and storytelling, will be taught
through comprehensive paid training. There is no need to be a scientist!


*Details*
$60.00 per show, plus continual paid training and full mileage
reimbursement. Hours are flexible.
