[SDS] Minutes 4/24/13 & Meeting 5/1/13

Hello Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who attended the meeting last night, we greatly
appreciated your attendance.

With that I would like to announce that we passed the Constitution and
Bylaw revisions! *The new Bylaws are now effective and the Constitution
revision is pending a vote from the SGA.*

*Congratulations to our new Executive Board!  They will take office next
Wednesday, May 1st. *

President: Lauren Harpst
Vice President: Liz Lamb*
Business Manager: Slava Boyar
Publicity: Colin Gliech
Jr. Member at Large: Natalie Barillaro

Thanks to all the Executive Board members for their efforts this past year
and thanks to Trevor for stepping up to Senior Member at Large.

*With that announcement, I regret to inform you all that I am declining the
position of Vice-President.  After hours of deliberation last night, I will
be unable to fill that position to the quality that I have before and
cannot serve another term.  I am sorry for the confusion and
inconvenience.  With that, the jointed, new and old Executive Boards have
decided we will reopen, the nomination period for the position of
Vice-President.  *We will accept nominations in writing until Monday, the
29th at 7PM*.   Then next *Wednesday, May 1st at 7PM we will host another
Election meeting (Location TBA).*
