AUDITIONS for President's Ensemble

The Office of University Events is holding auditions for the President's
Ensemble, a select group of undergraduate singers who perform at special
events, such as Board of Trustee dinners, Commencement, Convocation, and
Admissions receptions.



Students auditioning must be able to learn music easily (sight singing
preferred but not mandatory) and blend well in a choral setting. Rehearsals
are set with regards to the student’s schedule, and all voice ranges are
welcome to audition. At this time, only sophomores and juniors are eligible
to audition (freshmen auditions will be held in the late Spring). Those
selected to be in the Ensemble will start rehearsing immediately for the
Fall 2019 semester.



Auditions will be held one on one in the Music Room between September
18-27, 2019. Students auditioning will sing part of the Alma Mater and be
taught a piece of music that is part of the President’s Ensemble repertoire.
