HI Everyone,

Hope you are having a great summer!

We are bringing back the TAP musical this Fall….starting rehearsals over the summer, with the show going up to the Fall Festival Wkd at the end of September. For those not familiar with our format, we keep rehearsals to a minimum and work as much as possible around people’s schedules. Regular on-campus rehearsals will not begin until end of August.

Theta Alpha Phi and DeBaun Performing Arts Center would like to invite you to audition for this fall's production of The Wedding Singer. The performances will be part of the Fall Festival 2022. This 80's rock musical based in New Jersey is full of fun, upbeat music and tells a story of a professional wedding singer who gets left at the altar.



Director / Music Director - David Zimmerman

Choreographer / Producer - Kathy Gaccione



No appointments necessary for auditions, and please prepare one verse/chorus of a song that you are familiar with (preferably musical theater, rock/pop style). Please bring sheet music with you, and accompanist will be provided. Any Stevens student, staff, faculty, or alum can audition. Rehearsals will begin in August, and we will do our best to work around conflicts.



Audition Dates:

July 9 & 10 from 10:30am-12:30pm

Location: Music Room (4th floor Howe Building)

Parking: Howe Center or 8th Street Lots



Show Dates: (not sure if we're doing all 3 dates)

Friday, Sept 23rd

Saturday, Sept 24th

Sunday, Sept 25th



Tech/Dress rehearsal:

Monday, Sept 19

Tuesday, Sept 20

Wednesday, Sept 21



If you cannot attend either date but are interested, please email Kathy and David. Also, for those concerned with time commitments, please note that this show has many small roles in addition to the leads, and we hope to include as many people as possible in the production. Finally, if you are interested in a production role behind the scenes, let us know as well.
