[SDS] Spring Musical Feedback and General Reminders

Hello Everyone!

We want to go over some brief announcements and reminders for society events!

Spring Musical:

We are so excited to be in the process of choosing the Spring 2024 musical! We, as an e-board, have narrowed down to 4 options and would like your feedback!

We really value your feedback and heavily take it into consideration when choosing the show, so please voice your opinions! We strongly encourage researching each of the shows before submitting feedback, just to make sure we are all on the same page and can make informed decisions based on this feedback.

Fill out the form below with your thoughts on each of the FOUR musicals we've narrowed it down to! Try to be thorough in your answers and let us know which show would be the best fit for SDS. We strongly encourage you research all of the shows before submitting your feedback. This research may include watching versions of the show online, listening to the soundtrack, reading summaries of the show, and reading the script. Keep in mind the following: Cast size, cast ratio, genre, set, lights, costumes, sound, props, and hair and makeup. We appreciate your feedback! It will help us immensely in choosing what to do in the spring! (Note: these shows are presented in no particular order).

Broadway Trip:

We are beginning to plan the semesterly SDS Broadway Show Trip! We have a bunch of great options lined up, and we would like to know what shows you would prefer to see! The possible dates for this trip are November 12th, 19th, or 26th. The date may change depending on the show due to the availability of show tickets.

Event Reminders:

Take A Load Off Before Load-In has been rescheduled to this Friday, October 20th at 7 p.m. in EAS 130. There will be free food (including fresh waffles!), hot chocolate and tea, face masks, games, and lots of fun :) We hope to see you there!

Load-In is this Saturday, October 21st, and Sunday, October 22nd in DeBaun Auditorium! Both Saturday and Sunday will begin at 10 a.m. Come and help us build the Radium Girls set!!! We will be doing a basic workshop on power tools Saturday morning before building so you do not need any prior experience to help out!
