Hi ladies!

Some organizations on campus, including SWE, have been invited to
compete in the Google Games! The competition is focused on students in
CS and CPE, but that doesn't mean that other majors can't participate as
well. If you and/or some friends are interested, email me back and I'll
get a list together. The teams are made up of five people so keep that
in mind if you are interested. The original email with more information
is below. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi SWE students,

I'm the University Specialist for Stevens and I wanted to send you a
save the date for Google Games. It's a fun event that invites students
from around New York. Below is a description and a form to express
interest. If you have questions, let me know.

Dust off your telescope, put on your moon boots, and get ready to defy
gravity because The Google Games are back -- and this year we’re
taking on the entire universe.

Think you’ve got game? Prove it at the The Google Games NYC on April
18th! Compete against other students from NYU, Rutgers, Stony Brook, New
York Institute of Technology, Stevens Institute of Technology and the
College of New Jersey in challenges that test your brains and creativity
to the max. It’s a supernova of fun where teams of five will go head
to head in rigorous events: trivia, building challenge, puzzles, word
association, and coding competitions. This year’s theme is “Out of
this World” so make sure to throw on your best space suit or alien
gear and get ready for an otherworldly time! (Seriously, come dressed
up!)

Don’t get lost in space - save the date! If you would like to make
sure that you are on the email list when we officially open registration
to students, please complete this form [1]. We will be providing more
details once registration opens. Please note that completing this form
does not guarantee you a spot in The Google Games.

Questions? Email googlegames at google.com

Thanks,

Amy
