All,

   *Applications are now being accepted for the Societe de Chimie
Industrielle's 2019 Spring Mentorship Program.* For those of you who don't
know, Societe is a philanthropic organization based in NYC focused on the
betterment of the chemical industry. To this end they endeavor to connect
promising college students with seasoned industry executives, industry
experts, academics, financial professionals, consultants, etc who can
provide them with the guidance and resources they need to succeed.
   If you are interested in this opportunity, please fill out the attached
application and *email the filled application to aiche at stevens.edu
<aiche at stevens.edu>*. If your application is accepted, you will be notified
of your new mentor. The only requirement after that is to have a 1-hour
phone meeting with your mentor to get to know each other. After that any
additional interactions are left to the discretion of the mentor and
mentee. *The deadline for applications is next Wednesday, November 7th. *
   Additionally, *Societe's November meeting will be 11/14 from 10:40AM-3PM*
(travel time included) at the Yale Club in Manhattan. This meeting is a
great opportunity to learn about the state of the chemical industry,
network with high-level chemical engineering industry executives and other
notable figures, and of course get a free lunch! *Please notify
aiche at stevens.edu <aiche at stevens.edu> if you would like to attend.
*Additionally,
if you enter the mentorship program, this meeting would serve as a great
way to meet with your new mentor!
