All,

For all of you interested in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Women in Pharma
will be hosting a discussion and lab session on a couple of key
pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This is a good introduction for
those looking to work in the industry or thinking about taking PME classes
in the future!

There will be two sessions of this event, you are encouraged to attend both
sessions as different processes will be demonstrated at each.
Session 1: March 12th at 1:00 - 2:30 PM, Location - X432
Session 2: March 12th at 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Location - X432

The Women in Pharma (WIP) Club is hosting a V-Blender and Tablet
Compression Lab/Discussion on Tuesday, March 12th. Our event is open to
anyone interested in learning more about the pharmaceutical industry. If
you are interested in working in the industry or are thinking about taking
PME classes this is a great opportunity to come out and learn some of the
machines you may be using.

There will be 2 different sessions you can attend. Session #1 will be from
10-11am and we'll be using a V-Blender to formulate and mix raw tablet
material. Session #2 will be from 1-2:30pm and we'll be using the powder
from the first session to make tablets using a tablet press. You can attend
both sessions if you want to.

The lab is located in McLean 432. Because of limited space in the lab we
will be accepting approx. 8 people per session to attend. This is a
first-come first-served event so please make sure to sign up early!
