Arigathanks everyone for coming to matriculation yesterday!

Thank you guys for putting up with the delays and having to move rooms on
such short notice. We take all the blame for what happened yesterday, we
should have known better than to have trusted Stevens to do something as
simple as connect the lights to something (The guy Stevens sent us to turn
off the lights for us tried turning off every breaker on the first floor
and none of them turned off the lights). We ran a little late so we
decided not to watch the first episode of the set anime as we usually do so
if you are interested, the 2 week set anime we are going to watch is Sora
No Woto (We usually do a 3 week set as well but we decided to have 3 weeks
all be choices this semester).

So for those that could not make it or could not stay until the end of the
night, the results of matriculation are as follows:

*2 Week Choice: **Black Lagoon* def. *Panty & Stocking*
*3 Week Choice 1: **Jojo's Bizarre Adventure *def. Cowboy Bebop
*3 Week Choice 2: **Ergo Proxy *def. *One Outs and Gosick*

Overall I think that yesterday went fine other than the fact that some
heathens had the audacity to ask for the English dub and the fact that
there were some rogue e-board members that actually listened to them. We
will be informing them that we do not allow their kind here and will tell
our bouncers to toss them out on sight.

Next week will probably be Black Lagoon, but we will be sending out an
email later with the finalized details including which room we will be in
(Hopefully Stevens will fix the light situation as even teachers are
complaining about not being able to turn off lights in B118).

Also, we want to let you guys know that Stevens Anime Club also runs an
annual anime convention called CPAC (Castle Point Anime Convention). For
10 years we were on campus, but due to some reason we can no longer be on
campus and rather than giving up and stopping here, we are trying to see if
we can keep our convention alive off campus. We meet every Wednesday at
9PM in BC-220 to discuss topics related to the convention so if you are
interested in it and want to help out, feel free to come join us!

That brings us onto our next topic of Slack. We use Slack as our primary
way of communication in running the convention, but we recently decided to
use it as a place for people from Anime Club to talk to each other as
well. We also use it for Syncplay which is pretty much anime club but for
shows from the current season. If you are interested in joining the Slack
please fill out the following form with your email with which you wish to
be invited with. I will also include some survey questions in that form
for you guys to fill out if you choose to do so, we will take to
consideration all the responses.
