[AnimeClub] [Manga Club] Fall 2018: Spirit Circle

Hello everyone!  Sorry for the late email, I completely forgot to send one
out following the meeting.

We will be meeting again this Wednesday, September 20th in the CAL Lounge
(Morton 106) again.  I was very glad to see the same faces attend the wrap
up meeting for Onani Master Kurosawa as that means that we have more people
that we can talk about manga with!  While there were mixed reactions to the
cumming of age story of Onani Master Kurosawa, it was nice to get a good
discussion about completed manga, which is one of our goals for manga club
as usually after finishing a manga I have no one to discuss about it
afterwards.

This week we will be reading Spirit Circle by Satoshi Mizukami.  It was a
recommendation by one of our freshmen August who says he has read it and
says it is a masterpiece (it's a 10 on his MAL), but we will be the judge
of that.  I know that it is a little short notice for those who were not at
the last meeting, but it is only a short ~40 chapters so I would expect it
will take no longer than 3 hours of dedicated reading (so just read it
during one of your 3 hour lectures).  If you do not finish in time, still
feel free to come and discuss what you have read so far as long as you are
one of the people that don't mind spoilers as much.

Reminder that we have a shared google slides where we will be looking at
for recommendations.  Check out the recommendations and feel free to add
your own recommendation for what you feel like reading with the club on
it.  We will be using it Wednesday after our discussion to choose our next
manga.
