[cs615asa] Fwd: (no subject)

I am creating the instances and i see that we have to create a 1gb volume
and attach it to one of the instances. Now when configuring the ubuntu
instance online i reached the add volume section and see that a root volume
already exists and you can change its size from 8 to 1. Now my question is
that do i still need to create another volume of 1gb like it did down below
or the root volume is okay? Also how do create a new filesystem on the
volume and mount it, create a file on the new filesystem? I am lost if you
have links to the Aws documentation that would be nice. Thanks
