As with all assignments, you are to perform all tasks using the
command-line utilities, not via the browser.

You need to create (again: using the command-line utilities) a separate
volume.

Finding out the right way to do this is the objective of the homework
assignment.  The manual pages referenced in the homework assignment
should be a good starting point.
