[cs631apue] pkgin Question

Hello Everyone,

When I originally installed my Unix system pkgin would not install, so I finished the install without pkgin.  I have been trying to install it via command line with the following statements but receive this error (the same error I received when I first installed Unix).

apue$ export PKG_PATH="http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/8.1/All/"
apue$ pkg_add -v pkgin​
pkg_add: no pkg found for 'pkgin', sorry.​
pkg_add: 1 package addition failed​
apue$

Does anyone have any suggestions or insight into why this may be occurring?
