Dear Filipino Association of Stevens Tech.  ,

The Brothers of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. would like to invite you  to join us, and dozens of other colleges and universities, in a social media campaign on November 1st (tomorrow) to celebrate #IAmAnImmigrantDay. Below is some information on the campaign and how you can get involved.


On November 1st, a week before election day, over 50 colleges and universities nation wide will be celebrating #IAmAnImmigrant Day of Action. #IAmAnImmigrant honors each of our families’ sacrifices, struggles, and successes. In doing so, it allows us to recognize the contributions that immigrants have made to the past and present of the United States. #IAmAnImmigrant is a continuation of a campaign that launches this past June making hundreds of thousands impressions on social media.


Here's how to get involved!

·  Join the  <https://www.facebook.com/events/1783852291871468/> Facebook Event!

·  Tomorrow, post a photo on your social media page with the #IAmAnImmigrant and #SITdiversity with a short caption of how you or other immigrants in your family, group of friends, or neighbor has made a contribution in the United States.

·  Read the attached one pager to see what other ways you can get involved.

We hope you will help us as we strive to spread awareness to and stand in solidarity with our families, friends, peers, professors, and all immigrants who continue to drive our community forwards.
