Creating Community

for our spring panel discussion: "Creating Community."
The discussion will be kick-started by our panelists, composed of both
students and faculty, followed by an open forum where all those present can
express their thoughts. Do you feel Stevens is a community? How can we
create and/or improve it? How will this community change as we move
forwards with the development of the Strategic Plan? Any questions and any

Everyone Is Gay is a comedic duo coming to speak on campus to share their
message of encouraging people to accept themselves, regardless of their
sexual orientation or identity. The duo started out as an advice website
for all people, with an emphasis on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender,
and Queer (LGBTQ) youth. They use humour and honesty to support youth
across the country. Come see them in person!.
After the show, there will be a Q&A as well as a meet and greet!

Honor Board Accord: Fair or Foul?
Read the fake case presented to the Honor Board and determine whether a
violation has occurred and what penalties should be assigned. Please
support your reasoning. Visit stevens.edu/honor for the Honor System Bylaws
and Penalty Matrix. Drop your answers in Stevens mailbox S-1432 or email
them to honor at stevens.edu by *March 31st*. The top response will receive a
$50 Visa gift card!

Groups of three are asked to complete a lab in an Engineering Design III
class. For the experiment, one person copies down the data and emails it
out to the other two group mates. It is discovered that the student who
sent out the data intentionally changed some of the numbers he emailed to
sabotage those in his group. As a result, the individual write-ups
submitted by the two group mates contradicted the information taught in
class. Should any students be found guilty of an Honor System violation? If
yes, what penalty should be assigned?

Boken will begin at 1:00pm with a carnival spanning from Schaeffer lawn
down to Humphreys lawn and will include, but is not limited to, carnival
games, inflatable jousting, volleyball, food trucks, and a live DJ! Hayden
lot will then be opened at 7:00pm as opening band PAPER ROUTE takes the
stage at 7:30 and headliner ANBERLIN at 8:15! Don’t leave too quickly after
ANBERLIN finishes their set though as the sky above the Hudson River will
be illuminated by a spectacular fireworks display immediately following the
concert! The concert is free for Stevens
