Summer and Fall 2013 Registration News
This is to notify all undergraduate students about the upcoming
registration period for the summer and fall 2013 term. *Registration is
scheduled to begin at 8:00am on Monday, April 1st for seniors. Wednesday,
April 3rd will be open to juniors, followed by all other undergraduates on
Thursday, April 4th.* PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR CLASS LEVEL IS BASED ON
YOUR EARNED HOURS AND YOUR ANTICIPATED HOURS FOR THE SPRING 2013 SEMESTER.
If there are changes in the registration schedule due to unforeseen
circumstances, the Registrar's Office will make an announcement via e-mail
and on Pipeline. Tentative course schedules are now posted on the My
Stevens Pipeline (www.stevens.edu/es/student) under course sections.

The registration period extends through the beginning of each term and ends
with the last day of the Add/Drop period, which is ten weekdays into the
semester. The academic calendars for all terms up to and including fall

$700 Scholarship Award
For Immediate Release: StayFitInCollege.org, which promotes fitness in
college, has just announced scholarship awards for the 2012/2013 academic

The Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association offers
a $2,000 scholarship (and a waiver to attend the CSHEMA annual conference)

Entries are open for the 2013 College of Arts and Letters Award in Poetry

interested in both fiction and creative nonfiction.Contest winners in each

The Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, (OIE) is now seeking
participants for the 2013 Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) Summer
Scholars Research Program. In this program, undergraduate students engage

Information Technology Job Announcement
Information Technology seeks undergraduate students to work 35 hours per
week during the summer and up to 15 hours per week during the fall and
spring academic terms as Information Technology Consultants (ITC).
The pay rate is highly competitive with housing provided in Stevens
Residence Halls during the summer.
Work Study eligibility is NOT a requirement for this position.

HOURS:
The work schedule during the summer is mostly business hours, Monday
-Friday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. though it is necessary for ITC=92s to work
some evening and weekend shifts, and must also be available nights and
weekends during fall orientation. During the academic year, working hours
will usually be limited to a maximum of 15 hours per week during the times
that Information Technology Help Desk is open.
During the academic terms, Information Technology Consultants will provide
user support as needed to students and other members of the Stevens
community, with assigned hours, at the Help Desk. Information Technology
Consultants will also perform room checks after the conclusion of evening
classes. All successful applicants must have an open one hour time slot
(1:00 PM to 2:00 PM) on Wednesday afternoons, which will be paid and with
lunch provided, to meet with Information Technology Staff to discuss
emerging issues and problem solutions.

r (LGBTQ) youth. They use humour and honesty to support youth across the co=

Groups of three are asked to complete a lab in an Engineering Design III cl=
ass. For the experiment, one person copies down the data and emails it out =
to the other two group mates. It is discovered that the student who sent ou=
t the data intentionally changed some of the numbers he emailed to sabotage=
 those in his group. As a result, the individual write-ups submitted by the=
 two group mates contradicted the information taught in class. Should any s=
tudents be found guilty of an Honor System violation? If yes, what penalty =
should be assigned?
