[Sgdc] Ludum Dare

I also *highly* recommend LD. I should be competing as well. For those of
you who would be first timers, here's a "survival guide":
http://sol.gfxile.net/ldsurvival.html. Also, PixelProspector updated
their Indie
Resources Guide <http://www.pixelprospector.com/indie-resources/>, and
there's a decent list of engines and libraries on there, and for those of
you who have never programmed games (or never programmed at all), it is a
nice list of tech to try out. I personally recommend flash and flixel, my
current weapon of choice. I've also heard good things about flashPunk and
GameMaker (although I have no experience with either). If you are not a
programmer, don't think you're left out! There is a "jam" portion of the LD
competition where you're allowed to collaborate (the main compo is
individuals only). You can also try out GameMaker, because there is
supposedly very little programming.
