[SHPC] October Events and Kaplan Free MCAT Exams

Hey Everyone,

We have some very exciting events lined up for this month!

*October 14th at 1PM (Peirce 120)- EMT Presentation*
Senior Chemical Biology major and emergency medical technician Dylan Krause
will be giving a presentation about how to become an EMT and what her job
entails. This is a great way to obtain hands-on experience in the field of
emergency medicine (and it looks awesome if you are applying to a
health-related graduate school!!)

*October 21st at 1PM (Peirce 120)- Salus University Graduate School
Presentation *
A representative from Salus University will be talking about the
health-related graduate programs that her school has to offer. There are 13
post-graduate degree programs including *Optometry, Audiology, Physician
Assistant, Public Health, Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and
Visually Impaired, Biomedicine, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language
Pathology. *2015 Stevens graduate Spencer Lin is currently in his first as
an Optometry student at Salus.

*October 26th at 4PM (Babbio Center 122)- Kaplan Representative Visit*
A representative from Kaplan will be coming to give a lecture pertaining to
MCAT preparation and how to ensure that you will be ready for medical
school. Kaplan has been a great partner with Stevens in the past and have
always given amazing info sessions.
