[SHRC] Nominations for SHRC executive board are open

Nominations are open for the upcoming elections of the executive board of
SHRC. Actively participating members who wish to hold office need to notify
me of which position they will be running for before Monday, March 29. The
positions and responsibilities of the officers, according to the SHRC
constitution are:

 

The president shall

1.      Chair all meetings of SHRC,

2.      Have the power to call regular and special meetings of SHRC, 

3.      Carry out any duties specified in the bylaws of SHR, and

4.      Referee any in house competitions.

The vice president shall

1.      Assume all responsibilities of the president in the absence of the
president,

2.      Organize regular meetings,

3.      Organize in house competitions, and

4.      Carry out any duties specified in the bylaws of SHRC.

The treasurer shall

1.      Be responsible for all financial matters of SHRC,

2.      Provide the secretary with accurate records of all financial matters
of SHRC, and

3.      Carry out any duties specified in the bylaws of SHRC.

The secretary shall

1.      Be responsible for all records and documents of SHRC,

2.      Inform the SGA of any changes to the executive board,

3.      Keep score during all in house competitions, and

4.      Carry out any duties specified in the bylaws of SHRC.
