Dear Maintainers colleagues:

Please see the below/attached CFP for the 2018 Forum on Philosophy,
Engineering and Technology.

Of special note: in Track 3, the CFP calls out Maintenance in engineering
as a topic of interest, especially including epistemological and ethical
studies. We're thankful to have Andy Russell on the program committee as
well.

Please let me know (via individual reply) if you have any questions.

500 word abstracts are due Jan 14th.

*fPET to be held May 30 – June 1, 2018, at **University of Maryland,
College Park, *in the Greater Washington, DC area, USA.

The 2018 Forum on Philosophy, Engineering and Technology (fPET) welcomes
abstract submissions. The mission of fPET is to encourage reflection on
engineering, engineers, and technology; and to build bridges between
existing organizations of philosophers, engineers and scholars in related
fields.

*Update on Keynote Speakers: *There are now four confirmed fPET 2018
keynote speakers, including:

   - William Wimsatt (University of Minnesota, author of *Re-Engineering
   Philosophy)*
   - Robyn Gatens (NASA HQ, Deputy Director of International Space Station
   Division)
   - Daniel Sarewitz (Arizona State University, author of *The* *Techno-Human
   Condition*)
   - Malka Older (‘Engineering fiction’ guest of honor, author of the novel
   *Infomocracy*)
