Dear all,

Forwarding a Call for Papers for "Science of Team Science," a conference
taking place this June in North Carolina, organized by a wonderful,
thoughtful, humanistically-minded engineer colleague of mine at Duke, Christine
Hendren <https://cee.duke.edu/faculty/christine-hendren>.

This conference is focused on bringing interdisciplinary attention to
scientific collaboration, including attending to the ongoing work (often
uncompensated and unrecognized) of keeping collaborations together. I think
this conference could greatly benefit from contributions by folks on these
lists. Submissions are due on January 15 -- see below. For more

*Science of Team Science 2020: Call for Abstracts *

The SciTS2020 Program Committee is pleased to announce its open call for
abstracts for the 2020 Conference in Durham, North Carolina! This year’s
conference will be hosted by Duke University and the Duke Clinical &
Translational Science Institute, and will be held June 1-4, 2020 at the
Durham Convention Center in historic and vibrant Downtown Durham.



The SciTS2020 event marks the 11th year of the conference! Building off of
over a decade of establishing the Science of Team Science, the 2020
conference will focus on highlighting and pursuing excellence in studying,
doing, and teaching Team Science.



SciTS2020 is a forum for team science scholars, practitioners, and
providers from a broad range of disciplines to share and advance the latest
evidence-based methods in team collaboration, transdisciplinary
knowledge-making and implementation science. Speakers and attendees will
include investigators, administrators, students, funders, and policymakers.
Anyone interested in improving collaborative research and discovery is
welcome. Submission options include:



   - 15-minute Oral Presentations
   - Poster Presentations
   - New format for 2020: Round Robin flash presentations – this format is
   great for presenters looking for feedback and polishing on an idea,
   project, or paper.
   - Workshops
