Spring Musical 2013 & Other Items of Import

Dear Thespians, We would like to have on last chance to gauge the feelings
of our Society before choosing next semester's musical production. Below
you will find a short survey which we recommend spending a few minutes
submitting so the executive board can see a complete spectrum of our
interests. Before we address the survey further, let us remind you of
upcoming SDS and Theatrical Events. Information regarding the survey will
continue below. 12/2 - Stevens Choir is performing in concert at 3pm in
DeBaun Auditorium today! Support your fellow Society members and all the
other lovers of music! 12/5 - Jazz it up with the Stevens Jazz Band at 7pm
in DeBaun Auditorium. Let their smooth rhythms get you back in the groove
after Turkey Day. 12/9 - TAP presents their annual "Christmas Carol"
reading at 4pm in Bissinger! See and hear the classic tale of Ebeneezer
Scrooge and how any life problem can be solved with help of three
mysterious ghosts! 12/9 - Stevens Choir, a busy bunch, performs yet again
in the 'Messiah' sing-a-long at St. Mathew's, (corner of 8th and Hudson),
at 7pm. Come to sing or come to listen, either way you'll be having a great
time. 12/12 - SDS will be having its final GBM of the semester today at 9pm
in E-222. Our agenda items will be the MAL Nominations and Slava's
Budgetary Review. If anyone has additional items they would like to add to
the docket, please email the executive board at sds at stevens.edu and we will
be happy to accommodation you. Addressing MAL Nominations; if you wish to
nominate someone who is not in our list of Nominees below, please email in
your nomination before Dec. 5th, when nominations officially close. If you
have questions regarding nomination or running for the position, please
email sds at stevens.edu. MAL Nominees Brandon Griffin Trevor Batchelder
Lauren Harpst Kevin Quigley Beth Hromada Natalie Barillaro Spring Musical
2013 Final Feedback We will be providing links for background information
for each production below as well as a short list of summarized aspects of
the show to keep in mind. We ask you to please look into each piece to the
best of your ability so that your decision is as thorough as possible.
Before we begin, you will notice that 'Catch Me If You Can' and 'Ernest in
Love' have both been cut. This is because of issues regarding obtaining
rights and our wish to strike away from the English comedy, respectively.
Before reading the below comments and filling out the survey, please keep
in mind that the shows with larger commitments will require many full cast
rehearsals, and full cast dancing. Our goal is to put on a show we will all
be proud of and in order to do that, we must take into consideration how
much time must be committed per person. Everyone one of these shows will
depend on you, the many talented and dedicated members of our society. This
survey will be open until November 28th at 5:00pm! Once Upon a Mattress
