[SDS] DeBaun One Act Festival Directors Needed

DeBaun Performing Arts Center is searching for 3 directors to lead the one
acts being produced for the annual Stevens One Act Festival.

The Stevens One Act Festival has gone through many revisions over the
years, but has always featured the Stevens community in presenting a
quality theatrical production in September. This year DeBaun PAC decided to
focus on new and relatively new directors, giving them a chance to lead a
short production and experience theater from the "director's seat."

The Festival auditions on Tuesday evening, August 26, with rehearsals set
by the director after casting. Technical and dress rehearsals are September
10 and 11 in the evening, and performances are September 12 and 13 at 8pm.
The one acts are all comedies that show a different aspect of putting
together (auditioning, rehearsing, etc) a theatrical production.

If you are part of the Stevens Community (student, staff, faculty, alumni)
and interested in being a director, please email David Zimmerman at
dzimmerm at stevens.edu that you are interested and an application will be
sent to you. Also, samples of the plays will be emailed to you so you can
review and select which one(s) you are interested in directing. Deadline
for submitting your interest is MONDAY, AUGUST 18 at Midnight.
