Hey everyone,

First order of business: SHPC will be hosting a very exciting event
tomorrow with alumni Tushar Patel who will be talking about his amazing
work with organ and tissue donation. Tushar is saving lives every day and
this will be both an enlightening and entertaining presentation so please
come join us in *BC310 at 1PM TOMORROW! *General Tsos chicken will be
served!

Second order of business: Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ are
currently performing free dental screenings, including an exam and x-rays.
The dental students are preparing for their patient-based board licensing
exams and are using this opportunity to practice their skills. They have
invited us to participate! What makes this exciting for pre-dental students
is that the screening process and board licensing exam provide a unique
opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what is widely considered
the most important day of dental school. You will also get an insider's
look at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine clinics, meet dental school
faculty and students, learn about diagnosing dental disease, and get a
great story to tell in your dental school interview! Last but not least,
anyone who is a patient for the exam will receive treatment for free and be
compensated financially for their time and participation. The flyer is
attached in this email!!!

Third order of business: Emergency Medical Associates (EMA) is one of the
most respected emergency department (ED) practice organizations in the
United States and treats more than 1 million patients annually, while
serving more than 30 hospital clients. They are looking to hire individuals
that aspire to be doctors, physician assistants, or nurses and are excited
to make an impact in a hospital’s Emergency Department. They are looking
for students who will be able to start after the end of the spring semester
as well as immediately. If you would like more information about EMA and
the Clinical Information Manager position, please visit www.ema.net/cims.
Their flyers are also attached in the email. This is an amazing
opportunity!!!

We will see you all at the meeting tomorrow! Please come and sign up for
the FREE CPR class as well as the Army medicine suture lab and information
session coming up next month. Both events are first come first serve with
limited availability so attend the event tomorrow if you are interested.

Have a great day,
