[SHRC] Elections!

Hello all,
As you may know club elections are coming up for almost all clubs. That
means us too! Nominations will be open until the end of *Sunday(3/12)*. If
you're interested in running or want to nominate someone, let Matt or
another eboard member know before then. The positions are listed below
along with a brief description:
1.
President:
1.
Preside over all meetings and events of SHRC.
2.
Be the official representative of SHRC in all student, faculty, and
administrative matters.
3.
Book all rooms with the Office of Student Life as needed.
4.
Call and sanction regular or special meetings of the club and E-board.
5.
Have the ability to delegate duties to other officers, if unable to
fulfill them.
1.
Vice President:
1.
Assume all responsibilities of the President, in the absence thereof.
2.
Manage the inventory of the organization and coordinate on-campus
storage of club materials and assets.
3.
Hold keys for all club locks, while locks are in use.
4.
Perform all duties assigned by the President.
5.
Have the ability to delegate duties to other officers, if unable to
fulfill them.
2.
Treasurer:
1.
Maintain the records of all financial matters of the organization.
2.
Purchase parts, consumables, prizes, and other goods, as decided by
the Executive Board, in accordance with Student Life financial
regulations.
3.
Manage the purchasing card and purchase orders.
4.
Manage catering for club events.
5.
Prepare a budget to submit to the Executive Board, when requested.
6.
Facilitate the purchases of new equipment or prizes when necessary.
7.
Draft additional funding requests and reallocations, if necessary.
8.
Have the ability to delegate duties to other officers, if unable to
fulfill them.
3.
Secretary
1.
Handle e-mail correspondence with SHRC members and the Stevens
community.
2.
Update any SHRC social media as necessary.
3.
Create SHRC posters advertising club activities and events.
4.
Maintain the SHRC group messaging system(s).
5.
Record, store, and distribute the results of all meetings of the
Executive Board.
6.
Have the ability to delegate duties to other officers, if unable to
fulfill them.
4.
Volunteer Organizer
1.
Maintain contact with any outside groups looking for volunteer
efforts related to Robotics or STEM.
2.
Organize SHRC members on trips to outside volunteer events.
3.
Notify the general body of any volunteering opportunities available.
4.
Have the ability to delegate duties to other officers, if unable to
fulfill them.
5. This position does not need to be filled in order for the club to
function.
We will not be meeting over Spring break, so our next meeting will be
Monday the 20.
